I came upon a small group of vintage kitchen implementer with green handles recently. Three of them to be exact. This one is one of my favorites of all the various bits and pieces. It is a small strainer, very small. Do they even sell such things now? I am thinking this was for filtering when ingredients were less pure. It could come in handy when the teabag breaks filling the cup with unwanted teabags. Just our the tea through the strainer into a new cup.
Note I also have an example with a red handle. I was collecting the red handled pieces but have since gone seafoam green.

That looks like a perfect size to sprinkle some powdered sugar onto the top of a cupcake.
