Denix replicas are full size. They work just like the real thing with al the action and moving parts, but they do not chamber ammunition or fire it. But when the lever is pulled the bolt pulls back the bolt pulls back like it would to eject a spent casing and closes when the lever is pulled up. Plus it cocks the hammer and then you can squeeze the trigger (you aren't supposed to pull it). This one seems to be a .44 or .45 caliber.
Now I will need a pair of those deer hooves thingys to display it if I ever find space to put it.
