In 1965 I was ten years old and on the morning of Christmas and under the tree guess what was there a G. I. Joe. Thats what I was hoping to get for Christmas that day and well you know the rest of the story. I've had this for forty-five years and now it's in the curio cabinet.

I had a bunch of these that belonged to my brother in my doll collection, accessories and all. I loved them even though they used to put bullet holes in my Barbie's (my brother always denied this) My youngest showed an interest and I bought him the anniversary issues. When I saw what care he took with those I gave him mine.
