Unfortunately it does have a tiny hole, a down side of buying on internet.
It is a thing of beauty, all its missing is a good cuban cigar!
Mod Dep stands for Modèle Déposé which is Frenchy for Registered Design. Mod Dep was common on French, Italian and zee Germans silverware. But this looks like an Italian ashtray.
Its a nice peace! I think 8c is color, light copper. And 1013 is a steel material propertie.

An amazing peace of work! Haven't seen a triangular cigar ashtray for a wile. It seems the ship is brining a nice shipment of cuban cigars. Good purchase!
