1948 AIRSTREAMS # 12 AND 04 . Seen the airstream on the american pickers show # 3 and i have # 4 built one after that one. Have owned # 4 for about 6 years and the # 12 for over ten years.

This is not Mikes site but I really like your Airstreams.....................
What # is on the inside door plate. Was 48 the first year of production for the public; considering the fact that the aluminum was part of the war drive and still pretty scarce. and not available for none war uses till late 46/47
FYI :NASA altered Air Streams to use as isolation and decompression moduls for the first few Apollo Missions.
Airstreams first trailer was in 1936 until 1941 then stopped for the war. Started back in 1947 and still today.
Airstreams gotta be the coolest in the world !!
