This week's antiquish item may or may not be an actual antique. I found one seller claiming 1930s. It was made by the G. N. Coughlin Co in Orange New Jersey. It is a combination bean slicer and pea sheller. I didn't know beans got sliced. It is a counter mounted kitchen utensil which is handy as it takes up less space plus it isn't something you see every day. Plus the ever popular seafoam green color.
Now I was thinking when did writing initials like G. N. go to GN? That could give me some help in dating items.
