1955 Was a very good year! Just think of it, you could mail this wooden post card for only 3 cents. The Braves were still the Milwaukee Braves and their name was not yet considered offensive. The Green Bay Braves fans that mailed this card still thought that both games of a double header that the Braves just lost were still good games! People still had a sense of humor and no one thought that this cartoon of a straight white man and the apple of his eye was offensive. I am also impressed with her ability to run while wearing high heels. Looks like she could also have out run our modern combat boot wearing tattooed and pierced maidens.
