    Anyone know who made this large set of lamps and when? They belonged to a family member who recently died at age 98 so we have no idea where they came from.

      I have to run out for a moment and my memory is on hold. I can't remember the name right this second but these are AWESOME lamps. 1950's, highly sought after, EXPENSIVE! More later...

      Thank you! I found several similar lamps online now that you gave me some information to go on, but still have not yet seen these two.
      My guess is that they were purchased new as he lived in the same house for 70 years!!!!

      They are pretty close! Ours have lighter wood and the shades are colored with more tans and browns versus gold. Must have been a variation on one style. I think we need to buy a bigger house to accomodate the lamps....
